The Kings Head

We haven't reviewed this restaurant since November 2022, almost a year ago. But our recent experience was just as great as before. The Sunday roast had plenty of delicious meat and a variety of tasty vegetables. This place is always our top choice for a satisfying meal out.

Located in the heart of the countryside in Cornwall, this inn is a hidden gem! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous. A visit here is definitely a must-do!

We visited The Kings Head restaurant years ago and had a great experience. After not visiting for a few years, we decided to book a table and were delighted to find that the quality of the food and service had not changed. We both had the best lamb apron ever, cooked to perfection with excellent vegetables. The prawn cocktail was also superb. The restaurant offers smaller main courses for those who cannot manage a full meal, which we appreciated. The value for the meals was great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy whenever we visited. We were so impressed that we made a point to travel to the restaurant just to eat there. We are looking forward to our next holiday in Cornwall so we can return. Highly recommended. Andy and Sue.

Would recommend eating. they can say his all made house, good portion size and great value for money. beautiful desserts also.
