Bidrage med feedbackThe overriding feeling I am left with, having dined at Daaku for the first time, is just how wonderfully relaxed we all felt whilst we enjoyed our evening as a family. Upon entering the beautiful courtyard building, you are transported to another world, through the aromas, vibrant decorations and the gentle sounds of the thoughtfully put together play list. Everything is interesting and sense hightening; at once meditative and exciting. With their intentionally small menu (which changes every week) we still found it hard to decide as the descriptions of the dishes are all so enticing (we dined as two vegetarians and two meat eaters), so we ordered one of everything and were delighted with the result. It is said that 'we eat with our eyes ', so if that is true, then our ocular hungers were immediately satisfied by the stunning presentation of the food. We chatted whilst we ate, with the staff being consistently friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Ben, one of the owners and head chefs came to talk to our table (as they seem to with every table), which was a lovely touch as he was happy to answer our questions about their gorgeous food and restaurant decoration. We found the price to be very reasonable for the quality of the food and overall dining experience (quality and locally sourced ingredients clearly adding a further degree of excellence). If you 're just looking for a massive menu from which you might just order a korma/tikka masala and smash back a pint of Singha, then Daaku might not (yet) be for you. However, if you want a true dining experience treat and for your expectations of Indian food to be redefined, then give Daaku a try! We 'll be back for sure.
Amazing food. Amazing ambience. Lovely chef/owner, Jasmine. She would come to your table and ask you about the food and experience and have a chat. She certainly knows how to make her customers feel special. Such attention to detail to the interior of the restaurant. You can tell she has put her heart and soul into her business.
We had such a lovely dinner on our recent visit to Falmouth! Exceptional food with a lovely atmosphere, enhanced by Indian art and artifacts. Don’t miss this really good experience and food
The pork vindaloo might just be the best curry dish I have ever eaten. Packed full of pulled pork belly and with a rich and hot sauce that certainly let you know it was there, without brutally assaulting your mouth. The service was attentive and charming throughout. We had a lovely evening. Highly recommended.
Charming restaurant with a local touch. The owners and staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and ensure we had a great dining experience. Thank you!
