Tennessean Travel Stop - Cornersville

I really love this place. It's got a huge parking area for truck drivers. The front exterior was very welcoming with their Amish made rocking chairs. Very beautiful work! When you step inside, you don't know which way to look or turn. They have sooo much stuff! Love it! The restrooms were fairly clean. The restaurant offers real down home cooking at a great price. Once you finished that, you go outside to their ice cream parlor for your dessert. Yummy! They have showers for $10. Very clean and fairly large. They have two washers and two dryers. Each load is $1.50 per load. They also have a dog park! Excellent! The people working were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Will certainly be back again!

Friendly staff, clean facilities, good food. Would have given it 5 stars but the buffet needed some attention and an employee came and looked at it but there was no salad in the bar. It was about 9pm but when you pay for the bar, you expect to be able to find salad too.

The Tennessean Truck stop is a truly wonderful place to visit. Unlike most modern Truck Stops, Which are almost always a corporate(made with a cookie cutter)model that's almost always pretty similar. The Tennessean Truck Stop is a mom and pop owned place. That surprisingly has a wide variety of different items they offer to the public. It's one of the few remaining places that have a completely separate entrance for Truck drivers. The Driver's only entrance, takes you to a couple of restrooms, a laundromat,Showers and a couple of arcade games. Plus place to just sit and relax. The Tennessean also has a restaurant , Its a fresh BBQ themed restaurant. I love the pulled pork, I would recommend it to anyone.

Stopped in for the night, due to over crowding at Love's and Pilot. Plenty of parking here! Nice truck stop with dog park, gift shop, restaurant, showers, and drivers lounge. The food was good!

Definitely make this a pit stop if you drive through Tennessee. They say pop's BBQ is world famous, it is very good. But the character of this place is what really sets it apart. And the service oh I can't even begin to tell you how pleasant and polite they were. we ordered more than just a barbecue and all of it was good the breakfast foods french fries Burger whatever you get and so much of it huge plates of food.
