We ate here on the 29th juni 2022, and my wife and I both agree that it is in our top 3 restaurants that we have ever eaten in the country, and the top restaurant in the city charlotte. we're going back soon!

Make yourself a favor and visit this great restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in other mouths. The service is unmatched. The staff really cares about your experience. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while. Very recommended choplins!!!.

Visited choplins tonight. eating was pretty good. I had the steak medailles with kartoffels and vegetables. the decor needs some updating, its very dark in each part of the building. it was a little frustrating that we had to ask for our server a few times in an empty restaurant. I noticed, however, that she was quite attentive, what seemed to be a regular customer to his favorite order before he sit down. I can appreciate that, but don't ignore the rest of us.

My fiancée and I read a lot about this restaurant and we were thrilled to hear how this was a local cook in what should be a more sophisticated culinary experience. We were surprised to see that this restaurant was in a strip mall. So it wasn't really what we expected from the beginning and it just remained disappointed from there. The highlights of the meal were drinks, salmon and French onion soup. We started with the French onion soup and the Crab and Artichoke Dip. The onion soup was great, but the Crab Artichoke Dip was blande without taste of crabs at all. It would have been just an artichoke, and we never knew. These tables around us served bread and butter to their tables, but our server neglected to bring them to our table. It would have been nice to have the French onion soup. We waited about 20 minutes to get our dinner served, but it was incomplete to start. My fiancée got the salmon she said tasted really good. I ordered the steak with spinach and green beans. I asked for a balsamic vinegar for the spinach and my green beans were delayed. The steak was tender, but it could have been seasoned more. We both noticed that the food presentation was absolutely missing. It was simple. My green beans came very late into the meal together with my balsamico, although they gave me a balsamico glaze when I asked for Balsamico vinegar. I tried it with the boiled spinach and it was terrible. It was so untouched. Our server was missing for most meals and we waited some time to return. I wanted to order another drink, but that never happened. We waited and waited to pay while the table went around us and was revived. I asked the hostess if I could get my server, and about 5-7 minutes later the hostess returned and said that they could not get the attention of my server. She offered us a free desert that was beautiful, but we don't eat desserts, so we refused. She finally returned with our check after we asked, and she removed our drinks from our bill, which is why this was a 3-star rating and not a 2-star rating. My server finally came up after we had the Hostess work to get us our check and payment. She also offered a free dessert, but we went back. Our reservation was before 6:00 and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but she said that her really big table preoccupied her time. She should have asked her colleagues for help when she knew she was predisposed by other tables. I hoped more, but it was more of a total disappointment than anything else. I probably wouldn't return because it wasn't really worth the price we paid.

This place deserves 10 stars. The atmosphere was quite, romantic, and just what we were looking for. The music choice seemed to come straight from our play list. Elizabeth spoke to us straight from the heart. We felt like we knew her for years. She showed so much patience when answering all our questions. She listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. We can not wait to return and bring friends.
