Bidrage med feedbackWe ate here as a family of 4 and the restaurant was so courteous that we had not made a reservation, but found somewhere for us. The Angus-Steak was beautiful - the addition of black salt brought out the flavors and was a first for me and my partner. The steak was served with a mushroom sauce - very creamy and perfectly seasoned. Even the veg tasted beautiful. The children loved the pizza, but were not too sharp on the garlic bread - it was spread with fresh garlic over the boiled dough - for an adult it was authentic and appreciated, but not perhaps what a child has in mind when ordering garlic bread. The first white wine on the menu was a nice addition to the steak. I wouldn't normally drink white, but after a sip of my partners I was convinced. This restaurant is a must and a certain jewel in the center of Corfu city.
Delicious Italian pizza. Everyone is very nice and helpful to treat us like a movie star: we really enjoyed the food and the surrounding atmosphere. Five stars are not enough.
Amazing pizza and pasta, nearby, authenticate Italian as you probably find outside of Napoli. Unlike in Italy, there is only another place in the world where I really had great pizza (Sartori from Leicester Square in London for everyone interested), this is now the second. All foods are of an excellent standard (although the beef could have Carpaccio five with a little less dressing). There were some confusion when ordering a green salad on the side (as many salads were understood as not a salad but a lot of tomatoes). The wines we tried were of good quality (the Pinot Noir on the glass was excellent). This is an excellent place for a nice dinner in the heart of Corfu city.
What to say... wonderful experience, the sea bass tasted like sea water, the Ravioli looked handmade like roses and the dough had nothing less than the one you find in Bologna. The food was clean and you will find passion and competence for the main product. The service was competent (the waiters never went with empty hands and they looked around the tables every time before you go back to the kitchen / bar) and you can see that the owner does not save money on the staff. The owner was deliciously competent and charming, not for sale and for sale, but simply focused on your luck at the table. Hidden star, only for a few: the wine card is not classic for tourists, you will find gems of wines like Batar from Toscana, a biodynamic wine, a star of the Cantine Querciabella, hard to get and very difficult to use because of its organoleptic properties. We loved this place and we look forward to being back in Corfu city 26 and enjoy this wonderful hospitality experience. Thank you very much!
Am unexpected treasure of a restaurant in Corfu town …. The food was sublime the service was fantastic …. The wine selection was amazing you have to ask to see the wine store …. It is phenomenal….
