Rio Azul - Cordova

I’ve always had a good experience here and the food was tasty until tonight. I ordered the chicken burrito, which was extremely DRY! The manager came over and said that’s how it’s cooked and it has mayonnaise on it, which I didn’t see any nor did I think it should come on a burrito. He didn’t offer to recook it or offer something different and no discount for the nasty dry chicken! This place won’t get my money ever again! They were rude and not accommodating at all!!

Rio has great service and food. Quick and friendly. Never disappointed with meals. I have been there multiple times with family, enough times that they know my daughters order.

The server was very kind, but was a little hard to hear when speaking. The Pineapple Chicken Bacon with mushroom fajitas dish is this reason for eating at Rio Azul for the first time. The dish was delicious and worth ordering again. The beans and rice with the small salad in the taco shell looked and smelled wonderful. The to-go oorder of pork tamales was a great luch for the following day which lead a few people willing to try Rio. I was a little disappointed with the very dark areas on my expensive cut-up avocado.

Ordered bis steak Ala Mexicana. This is not that. Will not be back. This place is the worse mexican food ever.

The service was good. The price was good. It is the normal Mexican restaurant with good chips and salsa. The food was fast and hot. Server was friendly and helpful. Nice place.
