Bidrage med feedbackAlfonsina was recommended by our hotel. it is website said it opened at 19:30. not used to eat late, 7:30 was better than 8:00, as most restaurants, so we decided to try it. we arrived a few minutes after 7:30. the doors were open, another couple stood at the open door. we wanted to wait 15 minutes before they could sit down. we finally set ourselves. After we had so much steak, we decided to go with their pastas. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with cream my man ordered a kind pasta primavera. my came with a hunked meat, on the top of ravioli, with a small circle of melted cheese on the meat. all swim in a water. there was really no “ sauce”, only chopped meat water. my husbands pasta looked like soup, because he also floated in plenty of water. the service was good, but many items on the menu were not available as most whispered. would not recommend this restaurant at all, at least for it pastas their missing items on the menu.
Five years ago, I visited the place beautiful atmosphere and good traditional eating. the service, sometimes good, sometimes not very good. the place needs more attention to the cleanliness. not to bab, not the best!
I had lunch. pizza was huge and 4 can comfortably eat. the waiter was helpful and warned us in advance that the pizza alfonsina would be more than enough for 3 people.
Very traditional place in perfect location. not to miss a restaurant if you want to get a taste of Argentine culture while in cordoba. it is about live music, decoration and atmosphere in general. to get the full experience, order empanadas and wee.
Alfonsina is a typical restaurant in Cordoba. If you can't decide where to eat, you can seat there and for sure you'll have a good meal. They serve typical argentinian food (locro, humita, empanadas), but also some other dishes like pizzas, pasta, meat. Which is...interesting is that you can rent a mate and order some homemade merienda with nice bread and jams. Cons: Service is very very slow!
