Recommended by a local tour guide, this proved a true pearl. Of immediate notice: mature to aged local patrons, A LOT of tables that do get filled as evening progresses, no English on menus and very little of it spoken : . Do your homework with the menu or don’t, as I suspect you will not go wrong if you throw darts at it. None of the dishes we had in a frankly too big a dinner were less than perfect and some were remarkable above and beyond that. Try their risotto to make up for all the gooey ones you had elsewhere and miss not the pizza Umbra. EU70 for the best overeating for two we had on this trip so far, complete with house wine and desert. What 4 stars, are you kidding me?

Large parking, on the way out/in to Perugia, direction Florence. Friendly service, very efficient, easy to get a table, fast. The food is really of a good quality, even if they serve large amount of people.

Every time I come back to Perugia I pay a visit to this restaurant. However, nobody greeted me when I entered and we had to wait a while to have a table. I ordered a Becco burger with side variations . Service was slow. When I started eating my dish and as soon as I started to cut my burger, I noticed that there was STILL THE PROTECTIVE FILM ATTACHED!!! Ragazzi, la pellicola, vi rendete conto? Unfortunately I did not take a picture of that because my reaction was to call immediately the waiter, who took my plate back to the kitchen. They apologized and wanted to offer some focaccia which I did not need. When my new burger was back, I noticed that it was the very same plate (I had already put some olive oil in my salad) with tortino now COMPLETELY COLD. So double mistake... I expected, as in the US, not to have to pay at least for my dish. But the cashier did not know anything about what happened. Probably from the kitchen nobody will tell the owner what happened. That 's Italy, folks!

Excellent restaurant that offers quality dishes of both fish and meat with a nice fireplace. I never tried pizza. very popular both at lunch and dinner.

Good compromise between quality and prices, wide choice of wines.
