Bidrage med feedbackHad lunch today , Well impressed from start to finish . Food good quality and looked professional. Young waiter’s and waitresses very respectful, well done kitchen and front of house . Very nice ambiance. Definitely coming back
Me and my partner went to the Manor sywell for a lunch time meal . When got there we was seated and told to order at the bar, no problem until you stand in a queue so long with only two people serving taking orders for food and serving drinks. This was taking so long it was beyond a joke, eventually got served, this is when thing's got really bad, joined another queue at the carvery, a older gentleman in front of me was having problems because while he was queuing to order someone else had taken his table and had ordered by the app ,he got that sorted out then had to ask for a different piece of Turkey because the piece had had got blood in it instead of taking the Turkey away they just cut another piece, and continued to serve from what was clearly a under cooked bird ,at that point I just sat back down decided salmonella wasn't for me my partner did have the beef and some veg but did get served the wrong drink, the Manor is a budget restaurant , but do fail to get the basics right, I have been to other green King pubs that are run better, but they are competing with witherspoon pubs that run a tight ship with enough friendly staff for the amount of people who visit. It's not the first time I've used the Manor and sadly it's not the first time I've had a bad experience I have given enough chances and it's not getting better it's terrible it will be the last time I go
Excellent lunch our first lunch at the Manor restaurant. The food was very good. Starter consisted of a biscuit with smoked salmon cor pate . Both starters were tasty and very well presented. Hi For main courses we had turkey with all the trimmings which was very tasty. Salmon with hollandaise sauce and a mushroom Wellington. Each of the main courses was very tasty and the mushroom Wellington was one of the best ones I’ve ever eaten. Deserts consist of a fruit trifle or Christmas pudding. The fruit trifle was very tasty. There was an excellent red wine but unfortunately you did not get to see the label. The waiters and waitresses were all students. The young waitress was excellent and she engaged in polite conversation with you. Unfortunately the young men were all very shy and lacked a lot of social skills for being waiter’s. It may worth getting the students to practice possibly with lectures? The teachers was excellent. The Portion sizes were very large We will definitely be coming back as the food was good enough the surroundings were excellent and I’m hoping the young male students will all improve their social skills. The only real problem was the portion sizes which were very large. We will definitely be coming back as the food was good enough the surroundings were excellent and I’m hoping the young male students will all improve in their social skills.up
We had not been for years. The food was excellent. The piper brilliant. A very enjoyable evening. Well done Tresham College. We will be back.
WOW WOW WOW what can I say!! These young chefs pulled out all the stops the food was Mitchelin Star standard, not only great food the front of house was impeccable and so person centred.
