Backpocket Brewing - Coralville

This was my first time visiting the tap room and the only downside was the parking situation. There are two parking ramps nearby, but since we were only planning on having a beer or two and an appetizer, it wasn't a big issue. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was the best I've ever had. It was served with pizza chips. We also tried the caprese salad, which was also excellent. We enjoyed every beer we tried, although we only had a flight of five glasses. The sour Raygun was a favorite! We will definitely be returning to try the pizza next time.

Our baseball team was in town for the 11U State Tournament and decided to try Backpocket Brewery as we stayed at the Marriott. Even though they were busy and had a wedding party they made accommodations on the patio for our large group. The service, atmosphere, pizza, pork belly, and beer were all wonderful. I would definitely recommend and we'll be back.

I organized our 2017 Family Reunion at the Marriott and hosted a luncheon there. On Saturday night, I wanted to bring everyone together for more fun and laughter, so I decided to take the group to Backpocket Brewing for pizza and beer. Everyone enjoyed the experience; our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient while taking everyone's orders. The size of the pizzas was just right for our group, and the beer was tasty. We appreciated the cozy fire pit outside (it was a bit chilly that evening) and ended up being the last ones there for last call. I would definitely recommend Backpocket to anyone looking for delicious pizza, good beer, and a fun atmosphere.
