Metro Diner - Coral Springs

7/6/18 update: Back to dinner, had the chicken potcake, very good! Service still great: [sam waiter] Upgrade to 5 stars for consistency. Get back thanks to the owner for comments! A beautiful place with good, friendly service. Many good items to choose, but not overly complicated menu. I had the turkey pots and it was very good, I would certainly get it back or maybe try the chicken pots... You have an interesting Clam Chowder on the menu Minorcan, which has bacon and hot peppers from St. Augustine. Our waitress brought a sample, I love her! Really good and interesting taste. I'll try. Nice place for breakfast with the family. Breakfast is the standard egg, meat and waffles with a few sandwiches. I had the Frisco, it was tasty, not too salty not fat. The only complaint I had (quickly rectified) was coffee, it should I say dirty water as coffee. This happens from time to time, large amount and someone brauted a fresh pot, but forget to change the floor. The next cup was good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They had more than enough staff to cover indoor and outdoor seats. Prices are really good when you consider the location. Stop, you won't be disappointed.

Good food, but smaller portion size. Great service, ambience and good food too. I was only slightly disappointed with portion size, I had a chicken and waffles half part and it was great, but much smaller part compared to prices around. Would definitely recommend this if management could do something to improve the above point.

I loved this place personally! I ordered the notorious Chicken Waffles and it was so good! It literally filled me and I had a piece of chicken left. The staff was also great!

I get brunch from Metro at least once a month. I strongly advise getting the chicken biscuit. The last meal I got was the Charleston Shrimp and Grits and it was amazing although the grit cakes were gross. I substituted the grit cakes with whole grits and it changed my life. Also the strawberry butter for the chicken and waffles is great but it’s a lot of food.
