Bidrage med feedbackCosy Mexican-Spanish restaurant with a varied menu. We visited El Paso Restaurant on Saturday, February 14, 2015 for lunch. The first thing you notice is that El Paso seems narrow, but there is still space for two rows of tables and a series of stands. The second thing you notice is the varied menu. At noon there was a lunch menu and a regular menu with a small menu attached in the middle. Here you will find a wide selection of Mexican and Spanish articles. While most or all customers were non-Hispanic while we were there, El Paso offers horchata and several flavors of Jarritos Mexican soda. This is where El Paso lies directly on the border between what I call Mexican-American and real Mexican. I love Horchata so that a point in her favor. My friend could have Café con leche. My friend prefers pork over beef, so she was pleased to find pork phajitas that they enjoyed when you like Fajitas you 'll have many possibilities. I wanted to eat light and take home, so I ordered a combination consisting of a crispy taco, a tostada and an enchilada, with rice and beans. Nothing was too salty I add no salt to food, so I'm quite sensitive to him, and the salad in the taco and on the tostada was all fresh. The food was tasty and the presentation was quite the way you would expect nothing funny in other words. As I usually do, I ordered a side order of Jalopeños who were nice and crisp and picky, and not the really hot kind. Mr. Predictable, my 10-year-old son, had his usual chicken finger and French fries in a suitable small serving and an economy price $3.95 . Since he often does not finish his lunch, this was very appreciated. The service was friendly and attentive; when the waitress was the other gentleman present to us? came to our table. With Horchata for me and swinefajitas for my friend we are probably back to El Paso. Next time I will probably re-form and get one of their Taco Salat Art Entrees, or perhaps enchiladas suizas. Maybe we try one of the Spaniards who seemed more Cuban to me. The price was also very reasonable.
A real culinary pleasure. We arrived at El Paso Restaurant for lunch on a recommendation from a family member, while we visited Coral Springs from Tennessee. Lunch specialities include soup, soft drinks, chips and salsas. Service was fast and friendly, the restaurant very clean and pleasant inside, and the food phenomenal. The first visit last week I ordered from the regular menu, the chicken frogs were generously filled with what tasted like rotisserie chicken breast meat, not the crushed stew meat that many restaurants use. A real surprise was the sauce with which the frogs were bribed, which was more of a chicken sword, as mum would pour over your potatoes on Sunday dinner with the family. Excellent! My husband and I returned twice while we were in the area. A lunch special of the baby tampiqueña that I asked to be grilled rarely was very tender, not overcooked. And our last lunch at the end of the week was a repetition of the chicken flute with its ugly chicken engraving. Don't even ask me what my husband ordered in these three visits... I was too busy enjoying the records placed in front of me!
Beautiful atmosphere, vegetarian friendly. My husband and I have come here almost every month since we discovered it four years ago. Great place and very pleasant staff. The vegetarian articles are also great!
Very good. This is a great place. Small, cozy atmosphere with affordable prices and a family-run aura. But the food! Let me tell you about food. If there is better tasting of Mexican food in Broward County or S. FLA for this matter, I did not find it. My wife and I stumbled over this rather inconvenient place last week. About 5 bites in my meal I called the waitress over (by the way, ANY waitress will come by to help you) and told her to tell the cook that I thought my dish was the best Mexican in S. Florida. My wife agrees. Try it. There were 22 bucks with drinks and the portions are very nice. Five stars for service, price and quality.
