Saint Germains Bakery - Coquitlam

This restaurant is located in a shopping center and lacks inviting smells or freshly baked bread. They offer a variety of prepackaged gift cakes that are visually appealing but lack flavor. I purchased some small cakes as housewarming gifts for a Christmas party, but unfortunately, no one ended up eating them. They do not offer any greeting cards and the bakery does not appear to bake any goods on-site.

There is also a Saint Germains in Guildford Mall and it's one of my first stops when I arrive to Surrey, BC. The butter cream filled rolls are so delicious that some days I could eat two and they are huge. My husband likes the warm chicken or grill pork chopping. There are so many wonderful and delicious items. I love this place. The staff is so friendly even if they are busy.

The restaurant is always busy, despite having a variety of baked goods available at the counter. I decided to try one of the sweet rolls, and I enjoyed it with a coffee.

I've been waiting for Saint Germains Bakery to open up nearby me and it finally happened! It's quick and easy to get a few bakery items and you can get them all for a good price. When you first bite into it it's so good...and rich. It's also a bonus that they have an electronic sign telling you when the last time they baked something. Most of the stuff is made the day of.
