Bidrage med feedbackThe wait was LONG, like REALLY LONG. We sat down and placed order around 5:40. The restaurant wasn't busy, there were just 2 other tables at that point. We waited until 6:10, still no sign of the arrival of our supposedly yummy food. So we talked to the waitress and she said it's gonna be another 30mins wait. So we decided to just leave.Don't expect to get your food within 1 hour if you go there during peak hours.
Ordered Yang-Nyeom chicken recently, had pieces of bones in it. Why would they cut it like that instead of cooking it as is. Was a very scary eating experience.
Picked up 2 dishes for dinner! I ordered the deep fried soy garlic chicken (boneless and the steam-fried codfish dish. Chicken was okay, thought that the garlic was a bit overpowering and it was getting a bit salty after eating just the chicken (found myself reaching for some rice . I liked that they including some deep fried pieces of rice cake though! The chicken was deep fried very well too.. perhaps I might 've enjoyed the other flavours more. For the steam-fried codfish.... I 'm not sure if it was the taste of fish (amount of freshness? or the seasoning/sauce, but it tasted a bit bland even though the sauce was red (assuming that korean pepper paste or chilli powder was added . There was a lot of bean sprouts, few medium sized pieces of cod, some mussels, and rice was included. The portion was large however it did not taste amazing and unfortunately was not up to my standards. I probably will not order this menu again. For the price (I don 't remember exactly but was over $60 , I don 't think the taste was worth it. Sadly, it was a disappointing meal tonight!
It’s a family owned Korean restaurant. Friendly, cozy but you need to be patient for the food to arrive. It’s worth the wait cuz the food is very good with reasonable price. All of them including a large warm sake and tips for only $84. Enough for 4 adults.
I've never been to a Korean soup place that gave me banchan. Based on that alone, this place deserves a place in my favourites. The Gamjatang we ordered was the biggest we've seen, and of course it was delicious. Happy to have found a place that has a variety of Korean dishes, and not just a one trick pony.
