Ethno Vayat - Coquitlam

Today, we decided to stop in for lunch after noticing this restaurant while driving past. We had never experienced Balkan cuisine before, so we wanted to try something new and we are so glad we did. The food was outstanding! My husband enjoyed the roasted lamb, while I opted for the chevaps. Both dishes were filled with delicious flavors and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional, possibly the best I have experienced in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant, it was truly excellent!

Vayat offers excellent and authentic Balkan cuisine in a charming atmosphere. We visited for lunch and were thrilled with our experience. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the decor really captures the essence of the Balkans. They also have live music on weekends, making it a great spot for a fun night out or a relaxing meal. Vayat is definitely a must-try for anyone craving Balkan cuisine.

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. The place has recently been renovated by the new owners, bringing back memories of old Eastern Europe.

My boyfriend and I noticed that the Russian restaurant in this location was gone and decided to give this restaurant a try for an early dinner. Their facelift has made this a really charming space. The service was excellent and the food was PHENOMENAL. Many tempting items on the menu and the gentlemen serving us were great at answering our questions. This restaurant is definitely a new local favourite.

We came in late on a saturday night. Had an amazing dinner ... lots of flavor and the atmosphere was awesome!!!! Will come back soon. Thank you
