Que Rico Arenal - Copey

We reached there at 11am and were extremely hungry after our drive from San Jose. Although they hadn’t opened up for lunch, they were accommodating enough and cooked us a nice meal. We had the chicken and rice. Another night we ended up having our dinner here, the pizza toppings were so good! Especially the mushroom, one could sense that the ingredients were were much better and I came to know that it was all locally grown fresh from farms nearby

We are currently staying at the Arenal Manoa hotel, a beautiful resort with attentive and friendly staff. However, the on-site restaurants are quite pricey and don't offer great value for money. Therefore, we decided to take a 35-minute walk to this restaurant instead. The atmosphere was wonderful and we both enjoyed delicious pizza and fajitas, followed by a decadent chocolate and ice cream dessert. As a bonus, they even offered to give us a ride back to our hotel. The service was truly fabulous - thank you!

The ambience is everything. It has a beautiful view of the volcano, a very romantic vibe but can also be a quick stop for pizza after a long day of activities. We really enjoyed the mariachi pizza (for those who like spicy food) and cannot miss out on the bacio!!

The food at this restaurant is amazing, the service is great, and the cocktails are delicious. I highly recommend this place! The pizza and pasta are excellent.

Stopped here for dinner on a rainy evening before crashing for the night after a long drive. Looked for a place to eat and Que Rico was conveniently located and offered some options for our gluten-free friends that were travelling with us. The food itself was lacklustre and a bit bland, while there were no children's options on the menu. The pizzas were blonde on the bottom and the seasoning for the vegetables was uninspired. The roof was leaking also, and we had to move tables in order to avoid the constant drip. This was not a problem as we were the only people at the place!
