Brickstone's - Coos Bay

We are traveling and staying at the red Lion Hotel and have heard that they had a restaurant and bar on site. It was called the Brickstones and we went there for dinner. Our waitress in the evening of 5. September 2019 I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, I don't think they're wearing name tags there) was amazing! She was so friendly and so nice and so polite and so fast and even gives us a hug at the end of the night. As other reviewers mentioned, it is not a gigantic menu, but it was sufficient. There were the typical fried bar food appetizers, there were burgers, they are bad pasta, and we had the fish and chips. They had a pretty good selection of beers, all beer was $5. The fish and chips were fantastic and quickly came out and was a very large part.

Food was delicious, price was fair and our server was great! I wish I had written his name down so he could get a good deal... I remember talking about Coquille. I highly recommend this place!

Not the largest breakfast buffet I've ever had, but we were hungry and our options limited. the eggs were far over boiled, the brotröster was an antiquated pos, but the speck was real and the orane juice cold, so that is good.

In the dark. Eating was just fair, not good or just fair. it took 40 minutes to get my food and I was the only one there. Maybe it was just that night. 29. juni 2019 hotel red lion was great.

I wish I could rate this higher than a 1 star but due to the very very RUDE manager/bartender I cannot. We thankfully had an AMAZING waitress whom was very very sweet. She did everything to make our night perfect. It’s pretty sad though that the manager/bartender was so snippy and rude that even the waitress apologized for her. Their food is great but thanks to “Kayla” we probably will never eat there again.
