Yummy Golden Sands - COOPERS PLAINS

Great food, spicy and flavourful! Great place for group hang out with a bubble tea shop next door!

It used to be really good when it was first opened. Have a look at the red craws. They are super undersized and hardly anything to eat. The meat from the tail is like the size of a small dried shrimp and it costs $68/kg. Service was lousy with the waitress saying what when I was asking her something. Didn 't bother giving us a clean plate when it was full . Very very disappointed.

Went for Yum Cha and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and authentic. The service was outstanding too.

It’s upstairs you walk past live lobsters crabs in tanks begging you to end their misery. A huge tv screen features loud Asian style Eurovision bands playing anything but dining style ambiance. On another wall an even bigger screen was playing The Block. We were a table of eight had ordered banquet not cheap at $40 per head plus wine, desserts, tea coffee as extras. The staff had to be asked to clear plates between courses, to turn down the annoying screen. We were the only table they had nothing else to do. When it was time to pay the bill I had to ask for it was told their eftpos machine wasn’t working I’d need to find an ATM on ground floor pay in cash! Needless to say there was no tip we won’t ever be back!

Really good food. I took 11 new friends to the restaurant last night. All of them were first timer in the restaurant. They all loved the food. And one of my friends even wanted to host a 50 people event there This says something, right? The photo was taken right at the end, as the food was so yummy, we were busy eating rather than taken pictures. Lol.
