Bidrage med feedbackBooked the room 3 weeks ago and never was told that the hotel is under renovation. Arrived to see hallways with ripped up carpet, all the door numbers are on floor propped against wall because they are painting. Construction supplies laying everywhere. 2nd floor hallway to stairs has tack strip and padding with electrical outlets and wires exposed! Carpet in #213 was disgusting with stains. Furniture had stains, mattress protector had orange stains around the bottom. Pulled back the sheets to mattress to see tons of old blood stains. Curtains when pulled closed showed a million holes and cracks in the liner. Phone did not work. We asked for a new room and moved to #212 which was in better shape as far as the bed and curtains. But on bottom backside of bathroom door, there was to blood from someone's hand! At check out we asked why we were not told they were under renovation? She stated they have put it on all their websites but as of this morning, it is not posted. I have never seen a hotel in this shape!! I've stayed in Country Inn hotels before but this is horrible.
I expected a much newer hotel for the price... apparently some of the other chain hotels in the area are real dumps. But staff was terrific and they're doing some renovating, breakfast was good. Hotel was fine, just aging.
Manager doesn’t return calls. We stayed here for one night and after returning home the next morning realized we forgot a small kid sized pillow that had more sentimental value than just an ordinary pillow. Called immediately after we returned home which was only 2 hours later. Staff could not find item nor had any information of where it could be. I talked to 3 different staff members in the 3 times I called. All staff were unsuccessful in finding the item but stated they’d leave a message for the manager to call. I never got a returned call and I’m sure housekeeping trashed the item which is ridiculous as I would have thought anything bigger than a hair brush I would have gotten a call about it or at the very least would have put it in a lost and found for a time period to see if it was claimed. I wouldn’t stay here but if you don’t have any other choice don’t forget anything of importance as you’ll never get it back.
The hotel was under construction, which was not advertised when booking. Our room was FILTHY! There were holes in the walls, stains all over the carpet, the room smelled of marijuana and there was blood on our bedsheets. They did provide good customer service. We had 3 nights booked but only stayed 1 because of the condition of our room. They did refund me the two nights we didn't stay.
Reserved for two nights for a soccer tournament, unfortunately our team didn't do well so we didn't need the second night. They let us cancel our roomlate morning with a 12:30 checkout. They didn't need to do this but so thankful they did. Our room was recently remodeled and it was clean. The hotel is mid remodel so breakfast is in the lobby, and there is a mix of updated and tired at the moment.
