Outback Steakhouse - Cookeville

Cozy relaxed atmosphere. Service was outstanding! Food was 5 star.

Just had dinner here, not to bad this time. Steak was cooked just right, and tasted pretty good, and shrimp was great. Blooming onion a little over cooked and salty had to have 2 beers for that one. Salad was awsome as always.

Went on Saturday June 29 2024 wanted a steak so bad! Ordered the New York strip mid rare , when it was brought to the table it looked like it had been held over a grease fire and blackened.. when I cut into it was raw and couldn’t chew it was so tuff! So wasted money and time!

We like Outback however the last few trips we've made to eat there I have disappointed in the service we received and the food seems like it has also dropped off from what it used to be as well. We had to wait for what felt like 10 mins just to get drinks and when we needed refills it felt like much longer than that. The servera we have had seemed like they would have rather been anywhere but at work that day. I understand what it's like not wanting to be at work but when there you should be expected to do your best. We will likely go back since however we may opt for carryout next time.

Joann was amazing! Diego and I went in to grab a bite to eat, and received some of the friendliest, and professional table side service we have received anywhere. It's nice to see the new proprietor John Downs is running such a great staff at our previous place of employment! (Photo Unrelated)
