The Marlborough - Conwy

We spent a week at this restaurant and enjoyed every minute of it, except for the food during the weekend. They were short-staffed and a young girl made the dessert, but it didn't set properly and was still served to us. We sent it back to the kitchen, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Just returned from a coach trip with buckleys to this hotel and was disappointed. hotel was very dated , furniture falling apart t carpets worn, rusty shelves ect in bathroom. Shower was so slow it wasn't usable! Window was a pain to shut ect. Food! Well out of six days one evening .meal was ustOK!? Breakfast not bad service was not very well organised food was often cold and bland. Staff were mainly very nice especially Jason the bar .man and Brian. Not forgetting Jen the house keeper Such a shame. deffinately would not recommend very dissatisfied customer.

We stayed at this hotel while on a Buckley's Coach Trip. Our trip was fantastic and the driver, Callum, was absolutely fabulous. The location was also great. However, despite its convenient location, we found the hotel to be quite dated. The overall atmosphere was very old-fashioned, especially with regards to the food selection and menu. There wasn't much variety, and when I requested an alternative to the mushroom soup starter, I was told there was none available. Despite this, the meal was okay and satisfactory. Our room was clean, with nice white bedding, and we had a pleasant stay overall. However, the outdated feel of the hotel and the limited food options would likely deter me from staying here again, as we have stayed in many hotels that are much nicer with better dining choices.

I stayed at this restaurant from Friday through Monday and had a fantastic time. I was part of a large group of over 40 people, half of whom had medical issues, particularly mobility issues. Jean and her staff were incredible. They helped transport all of our bags to our rooms, made sure we were all settled in and were always willing to help. The breakfast and dinner service was quick, friendly, and the food was delicious. Each night, there was entertainment from solo singers, all of whom were excellent. On the last night, the singer took requests and sang everything from Rhinestone Cowboy to Edelweiss! Overall, it was a fantastic weekend and I would definitely stay there again.

Return here every year and the service is always outstanding. Staff are consistently helpful, food is exemplary. On behalf of Mr Mrs Ash
