Smokey Mo's - Conroe

I was very impressed with my delivery order from this restaurant. The brisket and turkey were excellent, while the ribs were just okay. The sauce was great and the loaded baked potato with chopped was wonderful. I also enjoyed the mac and cheese and coleslaw, both of which were above average. Overall, I would definitely eat here again.

I have been dining at this restaurant for years and have never been let down! The meat consistently tastes delicious, and they are generous with toppings. I recently ordered online, which was very convenient.

The fast service and delicious BBQ make this restaurant highly recommended for anyone looking to satisfy their taste buds. They offer both regular and spicy BBQ sauces, and the portion sizes are just right.

This place has really gone downhill in recent years. It used to be my favorite Bbq joint in the area, and now I'll probably never eat here again. No more baby back ribs, and their regular ribs were terrible when I left last time. No fried okra, and their other sides were never good. As others mentioned, the shares are becoming smaller and smaller, while prices are increasing.

I really like the food here, but over the last 2 years the portion sizes have gotten ridiculously small. I got a rib plate tonight, that had 2 ribs. Full cost of the adult menue and I didnt get enough food to fill up my 9 yr old daughter. I asked about it, hoping it was unintentional, and he confirmed that was the correct 1/3 lb. portion. You can get a rack of ribs for what these guys charge for 2 at nearly any franchise restaurant that sells BBQ. McKenzie's BBQ is right down the street, I recommend you drive past Smokey Mo's, and go get what you pay for. Their BBQ is fantastic, and plenty. I do not work for or know anyone that does work for McKenzie's BBQ.
