The girl working the window does not need to work in customer service. i pulled up to the speaker and got a very blunt response and when i ordered a singular potato there was a long pause and she just said what and the rest of the order was one word responses and rushed. As someone who also works in customer service i don 't expect overly nice but like maybe a hi .... food was good as usual tho

I absolutely love Pappas as I've been there many many times, it's almost funny reading some of the comments because if people aren't complaining about staff they're just admitting they don't like Barbecue. All the food I've had comes out almost perfectly and if it's not sauced to my liking I can just add more sauce or whatever I need, and whenever I'm sitting down to eat I feel so comfortable and welcome. It's a calm experience.

Ordered 1/2 chicken plate and 1/2 chicken was undercooked. The manager on duty, Ingrid, was quick to point out I had eaten 1/2 of the food. I responded that was the 1/2 cooked right. Showing her the very pink thigh meat that had a **** vein was not enough to get her to make this right. I asked for the general manager and she said he is on retreat. I asked for his name so I can call and ask to speak to him later and she flat out REFUSED to provide me with that information. I asked for the owner's name and she said she could not give me that information. She also told the worker next to her to be quiet as that worker was trying to explain what might have happened to the chicken. I made sure to tell her that I was very disappointed in the way she was (not) handling the situation. I was giving her an opportunity to rectify this and she did nothing. Also, the fixings area was dingy looking. Bbq sauce bottles were dirty and gnats flying around the area.

This is hands down best meal I’ve had in weeks while traveling around the us. This meal was absolutely incredible and it was the first time in Texas that I’ve received amazing customer service, guy taking my order answered my questions and made suggestions. Food is absolutely incredible and will make it back a few times before I leave. And it’s super reasonably priced for the amount and quality of this food. Thank youuuu!
