The Connaught Room at Ashford Castle

A fabulous afternoon. the staff was wonderful and the food was excellent.

A fabulous opportunity to see the castle and the grounds and enjoy a delicious lunch. make good when they are in the opposite!

Our lunch was nice. we celebrated my mother and sister birthdays and they brought a beautiful heart-shaped mousse with a candle and sang to them that touched them both and surprised. the only comment I have is that it would have been nice that this would have been dissert with our other that we have ordered. Apart from that zuzanna, shane and nate have taken care of us and we were very satisfied with our food and service. Of course you can't hit the environment!

A great spot for a treat meal. Only complaint is that I had said it was for my mums 70th and they didn’t do anything for it. Loved everything else. Always a special place.

Lunch in the drawing room at Ashford Castle was incredible. You overlook the courtyard and water from inside a beautiful room. The view was just spectacular. I started with a pot of tea and scones which were amazing and came with three very different spreads which were all delicious. I then ordered the chicken sandwich which was a very large portion and extremely messy but very good. My husband ordered the schnitzel which was even better. The service was great and you certainly cannot beat the view and ambiance. I would highly recommend especially if you are not fortunate enough to stay the night as a guest of the hotel, to at least book a lunch in the drawing room to see how lovely the castle is inside.
