A hidden gem for sure!! The food is the ABSOLUTE BEST SOUL FOOD I’ve had in ATLANTA! We enjoyed the salmon, lamb chops, greens, Mac cheese, yams, and honey corn bread. The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! This is great for day or night date or with family/ friends. Our server, E, was attentive, friendly, and best of all informative on the food and drinks!! The music and atmosphere were a nice adult ambiance to enjoy laughs or even still chat with those you are enjoying your meal. A definite return and a definite must visit if you haven’t been yet! You’ll thank me later
Never sat down. Put my party on the waiting list 25-30 minutes before arriving. It came off as one of those places that you probably need to know somebody at to be sat in a timely manner. Still waited a extra almost two hours once arriving. Watched drunk man who claimed to be the manager harass women coming to pick up their to go orders. Very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t go back.
Let me tell yall, GET HERE! My family and I visited this spot on a Monday evening (smart choice). We were seated quickly, and Robyn was the perfect hostess. She was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and friendly. The fried catfish, chicken wings, and smothered lamb chops were scrumptious! And OMG, the cornbread was beyond delicious! Robyn helped make our first visit a joy, I highly recommend this restaurant.
The owner was very rude and nasty towards me. When I tried to speak to her, she began throwing a tantrum and was very argumentative while her security pushed her away from talking to me. The food was okay, catfish had a fishy taste causing my stomach to feel queezy, but the yams and mac were good. Wouldn't go back tbh. Then the way she responds to people in the comments shows you that not everyone should own a restaurant. She got mad at me for bringing a $1 shooter after i asked her security guard calmly, where the rules were. Crazy thing was, I would have given it to them but she just snatched it out of my hands. I brought that half opened shooter because her reviews showed that her drinks were absolutely terrible. Anyways, I pray she finds the joy God blessed her life with because my goodness.
