Falafel Flame - Concord

My family and I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and we were blown away by the delicious flavors and excellent service. As a fan of spicy food, I opted for the Philly wrap with a spicy twist and it exceeded my expectations. I was tempted to order another one, but I was too full to indulge. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals as well. I'm thankful that there are still quality, family-owned businesses like this one in Concord.

I haven't had Greek food this good in a while! I'm so happy we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant.

After noticing this restaurant and returning the following week, I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The man behind the counter did not greet me or provide any hospitality. He seemed reluctant to answer my questions and when my food arrived, he dropped it on the table, causing the contents to spill out. Despite bringing replacements, the poor service and rudeness of the staff left a bad impression. The food itself was decent, but the experience makes me hesitant to return. I hope the owner or upper management takes note of this review to address the behavior of their employees. On a positive note, there are some vegetarian options available, such as plant-based sides and falafel, as well as pizza with vegetarian toppings.

They left the food in the downstairs lobby, janitor didn't know who it was for and threw it away.

I ordered ahead via GrubHub. In the past, they've been slow with orders so I showed up ~15 minutes after the pickup window (12:55 to 1:05). I stood around waiting to even be acknowledged. One guy was washing stuff, other lady was getting things out of the fridge. They looked up and just didn't say anything.Note: the restaurant was empty except for one couple, myself and one other guy waiting to order. We both looked at each other and shrugged.Finally after 5 minutes the first guy dried his hands and asked what I wanted. I said I had an online order. He checked and said it'll be at least another 10 minutes. At least that gives me time to write a review while I wait.Their food tastes good but it's pricy and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure I'm going to give them yet another chance at my business since it's been pretty consistent that they take a long time with orders whether in person, called in over the phone or done online.
