Canasta Kitchen - Concord

Jose was an exceptional server! He paid great attention to our needs, and the food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you, Jose, for your outstanding customer service.

This restaurant won the fan favorite award on the Concord Taco Trail, and it definitely deserved it. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. My husband enjoyed the mole con pollo, which was tasty, and I loved the asada enchiladas, which were some of the best I've ever had. I definitely recommend checking it out!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with generous portions and beautifully presented dishes (shoutout to the Chef). The meat was cooked perfectly, the seafood was delicious, and the chip and drink service was efficient. Despite my two visits, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, which I found baffling. The only drawback was a slightly sticky bathroom, but that's not a big deal since I don't eat in there.

We had lunch there on a Monday and there was hardly anyone there. We figured it would be crowded at that time of day. Make of that what you will. Anyway, the food was very good and the service was great. The server was very friendly and helpful. I give here 5 stars. The ambiance was a little dated and tired however. Probably my biggest complaint would be the bathroom. A lot of the paper products were out and the soap dispenser was barely attached to the wall. The door was pretty grungy where everyone grabs it to close it. If you own a restaurant you need to keep the bathrooms super clean because people will judge everything by how you keep the restrooms.

Ordered delivery from here and had never been there until today. Deanna greeted us and was the best. The happy hour menu has great options. This food is the real deal. Lots of meat and flavor. Everyone should stop by and say hi to Deanna and fill up on amazing food.
