Bidrage med feedbackRestaurant is clean, decor a little dated looking. Greeted and seated right away. Service is extremely attentive and we did not wait long for our food. Portion sizes are small which is great because you can try a variety of items. Buffet is 39..95 for weekday nights, a little expensive but hoping it was worth it. Ordering happens on an iPad which is fun and they do have a great selection of items as well as a limited salad bar which was actually decent with surimi and seaweed salad as well as peel and eat shrimp that were quite tasty. The first round of sushi rolls was okay but not great, individual sushi the same. There was nothing wrong with it, but for the cost the quality is not there. Ordered some seared salmon, first bite, cooked on the outside and frozen on the inside. Sent it back. The sushi rice is too mushy and overly sweet which may add to why the overall experience was less than desired. Deep fried offerings were quite good, the shrimp wonton was really good! Har Gow overcooked and mushy. ! Handrolls were nice size and fillings generous. Soda is included on the buffet price which is a bonus. Thai shrimp, basically blandish sweet sauce, four shrimp and a bunch of onions, the photos on the menu are definitely an over promise (more so than expected being a food stylist myself). Was it bad....no, was it passable, yes, with some few offerings good, was it something where I want to go back again,? Sadly no.I really wanted to love it, fun place to take friends etc. I know these places are not premium sushi but this was a lower grade than expected for the price. The cost of two people would buy a huge party platter from a better quality chain like Kibo sushi with a few side dishes and would be just as filling, similar volume of food, even some leftovers! Fun place to go once to experience it. Bill for two with one beer and tip was over 100 dollars....really feels like it should be at least 10 bucks less per person especially on a weeknight. Robot waiters were not running, would have added to the fun. I did see some folks order off menu, and some things like cantonese chow mien looked good but we were too full to try. Won 't go back, will keep searching for better options unless they up the quality.
We have diner there in the past however yesterdays lunch for over $60 was unacceptable. Cold soup and tiny portions. Limited menu. Just not worth it… sorry…
They have sushi, shashime and meat available. They had a lunch price and a supper price. There is more selection for the supper menu but it costs more. There is a mid sized Asian type salad bar, with extra condiments available. I had Salmon, it was very goo. All 3 of the meats available. There were also chicken and pork dishes available. It is not only a sushi place, most of my food was shashime (no rice). You should finish your food or pay $1 per item not eaten.
This was my first time for this place. The food is prepared fresh so be patient about wait time. you order on a tablet and the food is brought to your table. the secret is to order right after you get your food so you dont wait 15 minutes for the next order to arrive. portions are small so you have to keep ordering. hreat freshly cooked food.
So this place is like spring sushi. You sit down. You order food from a tablet. And it's all you can eat its 30 dollars each during dinner time and 20 dollars each during lunch time like 12pm to 4pm. The only dislike I have is when you pay with credit card or debit card you are forced to tip unless you akward ask the worker how you cant tip on the machine. I would say try this place during the lunch time.
