Winchell's Donut House - Compton

Drove from quite a way to give this place a shot. Thier google page says open till 6:pm showed up at 5p.m and they were closed. Smh.

Very helpful and friendly staff here. Even the patrons here are friendly and helpful. Good vibes to start the day.

Really sweet employee. Very bright lights. Can easily tell it's a Burbank staple, but maybe me going at 6pm I shouldn't be surprised if the few I got didn't taste super fresh. Wouldn't need to go back, but I'm sure they taste amazing fresh out of the oven/grease?! idk how donuts are made lol.

Horrible. Don't get an Iced Coffee and there Ham and Cheese maybe a hit or miss. Unfortunately they have ruined both for me. Better off going to the McDonald's across the street.

These donuts are THE BEST. I may or may not be a donut addict. I have tried DK in Santa Monica, SK in Hollywood, California Donuts, Kettle Glazed, Fonuts, Donut Prince, and the list goes on. I can assure you without a doubt that Donut Hut is THE BEST. Big and delicious and almost always have a heavy supply even later in the day.
