Riva Cafe - COMO

We ate here three times in the four nights we were in Como and the only night we didn't was because it was closed which I think was a Monday. They do a lunch then close before opening again in the evening. Food is really good we had Pizzas Pasta all very fresh and mains from 10 Euros.Lots of staff well trained organised. Food arrives quickly and tastes fresh. There is usually a queue to get a table and you can see why. Don't make the mistake of eating in Stilo around the corner on the front a totally different experience.

Really good fresh Italian food and great wines. Very good value for money and in a great people watching spot. It does get busy so arrive before 8pm to avoid having to wait and the staff get a little overwhelmed so little mistakes/drops in service do occur but the food is worth it.

Based on other reviews, I wish I had ordered the pattern Zia. The gnocchi was okay. The fish was decent. The flan was bland. The staff was nice.

Personale gentilissimo e cordiale, ottimo caffè, prezzi decisamente migliori della media.

Pleasantly surprised with the reasonably priced and tasty thin pizzas. We loved the tiramisu too. One of our better meals in Como
