Dion's - Commerce City

The turkey sandwich with green chili was quite amazing. The quality of bread really added much more to the whole meat and vegetable ensemble. The green Chili Ranch has an amazing taste, but also a super thick consistency. Please open a location closer to downtown Denver!

No bad place. Kinda felt like a pizza version of Panera. I have a big paprika pizza for about $20, and it has fed three adults and a toddler. The taste was quite good overall, but her dining room was strange, only the spoon in stock, and with paper plates. Had to ask for a fork and knife to cut the pizza for the toddler.

This is a must for my dad and I'm in town. He discovered this place when he began to drive towards Tower Rd to visit his mother. I live in NC now, so if I'm back in Denver, he'll make sure we go to this place before I see my Grams. The picture below is a CYO salad they allowed me. They did a basic salad and then I went crazy about my blows. I think I had a total of 4-6 toppings as part of this salad. The salad was a full order I thought I couldn't eat in 1 session. I could! The dressing was stellar to dress my CYO style salad. My father was a little jealous that he didn't order a salad. He LOVES... and I mean LOVES... her pastrami sandwich. He'd eat the sandwich every day if his can would allow him. Both meals are top-notch! Hands down, we would recommend this place!

Friday was really busy at Dion's. But the nice boy in the register, Adam, was amazing! I was looking for something new to order, and he gave me great suggestions! I was really happy with the Italian sub he recommended. And it came as much faster than usual. The sandwich was excellent. Next time I go to the salad!

Dion's has great food, simply as that. We love getting their pizza and the pastrami sandwiches are top notch. Their pizza sauce has great seasoning to it and the toppings always seem fresh. The subs are on deliciously toasted rolls and packed with the good stuff (and messy so watch out! . This is one of those places where you feel like you are getting every bang for your buck and want to come back for more. Now I get the location is less than ideal for those living more west, but we drive about 15mins for Dion's and to be honest, I never felt like it wasn't worth the drive. Make sure you call ahead if your picking up, and if you dine in you'll find great seating and a very accommodating staff.
