Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza University Village Colorado Springs

Craving a more Italian style pizza so drove down from Denver as we no longer have an Il Vicinos and had lunch with my mum. Their great at allowing substitution of toppings.

Margherita pizza is delicious, pasta is alright. Will go again for the pizza though!

I recently visited and had the most delightful experience building my own wood-fired pizza. The modern, stylish decor created a welcoming atmosphere, but the highlight was undoubtedly the comforting aroma of the woodfire. The scent of the burning wood added a unique and inviting touch that enhanced the entire dining experience. The pizza itself was perfection, with a crispy, flavorful crust and fresh, delicious toppings. Every detail, from the ambiance to the taste, made my visit unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Came back for the pizza because it was good. But this time something happened. Ordered a marg pizza with a side of Alfredo sauce. Manager with dirty blonde hair and grey shirt delivers pizza. I say “oh and can I get my side of Alfredo sauce” She responds “did you pay for it?” Wait what? She had me dumbfounded. Idk? Did your employee charge me for it when I ordered it? Caught me off guard, completely rude. I told her idk if they charged me for it and brings me literally a teaspoon of the sauce on the side. So I got up and ordered it to get a regular serving. Rude, that manager needs some customer service training. Terrible experience.

Atmosphere: chill. Nice. Refreshing. Service: friendly, food and drinks come quick FOOD: incredible pizza. Light, fluffy, tastes very fresh, good amount of char, good undercarriage, slight flop to it, give it an 8.8. If you’re looking for a quick pizza that won’t put you to sleep, this is incredible
