Our experience at Lavinia's Crisp in Majorda was simply amazing. Smiley and the team were incredibly friendly, hardworking, professional, and hospitable. The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed many wonderful days at this restaurant and can't wait to go back!

In the run of the years we have spent a lot of time in many excellent escapes, but lavinas is the best! why? first the service and the attention of the young who run it. ismile, suhil and suiliman (please apologise the spelling) work their socks, good flip-flops, out to provide excellent service. the hours they work are unbelievable, and yet they are there every day, smile, laugh and are proaktiw to ensure that their day on the beach is completely relaxing. Of course, this alone would not distinguish them from several other dishes, but where lavinas cuts the others, the quality of the food is. The level is consistently high over a period of two weeks. we had not served a dodgy dish and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. we usually had breakfast and lunch with them, and the young were also good to catering for the gluten-free diet of my wife. We always receive a warm welcome from Smiley and his staff at this restaurant. The service is excellent and cannot be matched. This place truly offers total relaxation and a great atmosphere for dining.

For a more peaceful beachfront dining experience, make your way to Lavina's Beach Shack (Lavina Bar Restaurant) on Gonsua beach. After disembarking from the shuttle bus (which you may be using if staying at Alila Diwa), turn right towards the beach and stroll over to Lavina's – it is the first stand-alone shack you will encounter (keep an eye out for the flag poles and the red, white, and blue picket fence). Lavina's is managed by Livia (the mother of Frank, who operates Alex Place - see separate positive review for Alex's Place Garden Restaurant). Livia is a fantastic chef and all the dishes we sampled were delightful and reasonably priced. The service is provided by a couple of young gentlemen – we became acquainted with Ismail, who is very charming; they both go above and beyond to cater to everyone's needs. They are outstanding and deserve special recognition for their cheerful and accommodating dispositions. The same policies apply here as at Alex's Place – purchasing drinks or meals entitles you to utilize their sun loungers, umbrellas, tables, and chairs at no extra cost; additionally, if you find yourself at the Alila Diwa without transport after the last shuttle bus, they will arrange for a complimentary cab to take you back. Exceptional individuals, we are eagerly looking forward to visiting again...
