Alex's Place Garden Restaurant - Colva

This beachside restaurant, styled like a hut, has some stained tablecloths but the food is excellent and at a very affordable price. The server offers a variety of fish, crabs, and prawns, and we make our choice. The cuisine is outstanding with delicious sauces. The drinks are also very reasonably priced.

After calling after lunch and having a beer, we decided to go back early evening for a meal. We were sat in the beach having a Kingfisher whilst watching the sunset. We chose a SeaBass accompanied with Aloo Gobi and cheese & garlic naanThe fish was cooked to perfection. We had a splendid meal

We used the shack on quite a few days & nights during our holiday. Couldn't fault either the food or the service, both excellent. The shack lads couldn't do enough for you & always with a smile. We chose to celebrate my birthday with an evening meal on the beach at Alex's. Great choice. The setting, ambience, food, service & company, not forgetting Coco the puppy, made for a brilliant fun night. So whether you want to chill with a beer during the day or a romantic evening meal on the beach, Alex's fits the bill.

First shack from where hotel shuttle drops guests. Tried the other shacks as well but staff here made the difference. They went out of their way to get sun beds where we wanted. Food was really good -try honey chilli pototoes, Any of naan's, Hakka noodles or butter chicken.
