Uprise Bakery - Columbia

Uprise is a great place to go if you want a coffee, snack, lunch, dinner, and ever drinks. It is also a movie theater which is beyond cool. The staff is always so nice and it is a great place to study, catch up with friends, or even grab some dinner.

Stopped for breakfast to go and it was wonderful! Had the three cheese quiche with an arugula salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing. They packed it beautifully—quiche stayed hot and salad was delicious. My husband says his latte was one of the best he had on our 4,000 mile road trip. Worth a stop, for sure! Kid-friendliness: Yummy hot chocolate, cookies and kid friendly breakfast/lunch options. High chairs available. Sunny patio. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible!

The skinny bald guy with glasses was extremely rude to us. Made us leave before we even got a chance to order anything. Would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Great potato knish and muffins! The wall bordering the record shop has outlets.

I have not ordered from their menu or had a mixed drink from the full bar (which looks great), but I LOVE all of their wonderful bakery items, in particular, the Columbia Sourdough loaf, which is the best sourdough bread outside of San Francisco that I have ever had.
