Bidrage med feedbackThe lady that owns big shakes in columbia tn is very rude and hateful to her employees and customers!
The floor was sticky. Not a great first impression as you walk in. I got the chicken tenders and cat fish with the #3 seasoning. It wasn't even close to hot. In fact, the seasoning was barely detectable. Still, the food was cooked well. I'm just disappointed in the heat. I'd try it 1 more time, just to be fair. But, my 1st impression is that it's underwhelming.
We ate here right when they opened at 11am on a Saturday morning. It was very nice not to have to deal with big crowds because we have driven by here on the weekends and seen this place get packed so this time gave us a chance to really take in the scenery. The staff are super friendly.I 'm sure what everyone wants to know is how is the food?I ordered the 3 tender(original no spice) with Mac and cheese and a fish taco with crybaby (lowest level of spice). I loved the chicken tenders themselves, they were large and juicy/moist. I would suggest going to at least crybaby on the seasoning though, because you can 't really taste any flavoring on the original. The Mac and cheese is in my top 3 of amazing creamy Mac and cheese. Definitely an excellent choice. As for the fish taco I got that with crybaby seasoning and the spice hits harder on the fish than the chicken I think but it was good flavoring. The only issue I had with the fish taco with it seemed like there was a lot of breading on the fish.My wife ordered the chicken tenders and waffles (crybaby seasoning)with fries. She said the fries were good but nothing special, just like most places. The waffles were really good and the chicken was really moist and delicious. We both agree that the seasoning (crybaby)was really good on the chicken, and recommended that be the lowest level to try as it gives you a nice flavor without building heat in your mouth. I would place it lower than mild wings at most places heat wise.We plan to come back again and try some hotter levels. My wife loves hot food and I 'm on the mild side for reference. Definitely worth a stop at if you are in the area.Parking: The restaurant is located just off the main square and is easy walking distance if you are touring that area. You can find free parking all up and down the road.
I ordered the chicken sandwich and beans. I didn't expect anything exciting with those options, but WOW. They both blew me away with how good they both were.
