New China - Columbia City

Super nice place! My fiancé and I went here yesterday and holy cow. Both of us really liked what we got and agreed the best places are little hole in the wall places, so to speak. Food was amazing and flavourful, and the service was great, super friendly!

Food was pretty awful and I was really disappointed. Crab Rangoon was like microwaved (you know how cream cheese gets when you microwave it all curdled looking) then overly fried. No crab flavor in it. Egg roll was good, but had little to no pork in it. I think I seen 3 tiny pieces. Very disappointing but had good veggie flavor at least. Also had beef and broccoli with fried rice this was not good. Beef had a weird soft gummy texture not like real food. Couldn’t Handle the texture, broccoli and sauce was decent though. Broccoli looked nice and green which is good. Rice didn’t taste like fried rice, not what I expected and will not return.

Great food and very reasonable!!! The only thing I didn't like was eating off Styrofoam plates, plastic silverware and Styrofoam cups. But the prices made it tolerable.

Picked up Kung Ppw chicken and crab Rangoon. Worst food I have had from ANY Chinese restaurant. Crab Rangoons were a commercially purchased product and so chewy as to be almost inedible. The Kung pow was tasteless. The chicken had been frozen and thawed out in a microwave? Most was still cold in the middle. Ingredients had been dumped in together with none of the normal spices and flavoring that makes Kung Pow special. We tried to eat this meal and gave up. IT WAS TERRIBLE! Will never see me again.

Absolutley awful food. Such a waste of money. No flavor with anything. Even the prepackaged fortune cookies tasted off. So sketch.
