Kura Japanese Restaurant

When you walk in, it seems nice enough, although you can tell it’s not really Japanese. We each ordered a bento box, terriyaki chicken and beef. It came out looking really nice with a lot of food on the plate, but, nasty. The tsukemo was sweet, like it came from a jar of pickled relish, the ginger dressing on the salad was really sweet, the rice was really cheap tasting and I couldn’t eat it (I never thought I could be a rice snob… . The chicken was dry and just tasted bad, the beef was okay but gave me a lot of trouble later on in the day. It also came with tempura which was palatable. So it came with alot and it looked really nice, but gross. The best thing about this restaurant was the miso soup. They don’t skimp on the seaweed and tofu so it was yummy. I even ordered a second bowl. When you order the bento box, you can add 4 pieces of a california roll for a dollar more. It was quickly made and it was also really good. But I will definatly not be going here again. I was really dissapointed.

Always love eating here! Nice people, amazing food, and plenty of options. Hibachi and sushi are my favorite here!

Decent place for lunch, however does not stand out when there are several other nearby places that offer the same food but better quality. I have been here...

Kura is back!!! Great fresh food and fast service. The servers are the best I have seen at Kura. JOHNNY ON THE SPOT!!!

This review is for a recent order processing and does not speak with the food or service of a diving experience. I posted a pickup online and chose an available pickup time and it was delivered within a few minutes of my desired time. I understand that this is not always through the amount of business that the restaurant experiences. My order consisted of some sushi items as well as some kitchen items. I tend to adapt some of the sushi to my daughters, and that has always been recorded. Since this was an online order, the restaurant called to make sure that they had all the right information for my order, which was typical of my orders. I know the reviews are very mixed with this restaurant and I do not speak against any of the reviews. I'm sure there are inconveniences and negatives with din and take orders. This review is strict for this particular experience, which was very positive. My previous experiences were also positive. The photo is of the sushi part of the order that I always transfer to my own court. The presentation has always been with care, even on an extradition, but who wants to eat sushi from an exhaust container!
