Jose Muldoon's - S Carefree

We have been to this restaurant three times now, and unfortunately, our experiences have not been great. The first visit was good, receiving four stars, but the second visit was poor as the food was served cold. This most recent visit was also disappointing. The menu did not specify whether the enchiladas and tacos we ordered were made with shredded or ground beef. We usually prefer ground beef but did not mention this to our waitress, nor did she ask us. We were served chewy and lukewarm shredded beef instead. After receiving our order, we realized that a similar menu item did offer a choice between shredded and ground beef. Additionally, I was unable to verify if the total cost of our meal was accurate as we were not given a receipt detailing the items we ordered and their individual costs, only the total amount. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and we are unlikely to return to Jose's in the future.

Service was great! Bartender made perfect drinks and I can't forget the $3 Margaritas house on Thursday!!!! Will definitely be back for more fun and laughter.

Absolutely amazing food, good atmosphere, really, there is not much more to say. It's really good. (Yellow queso for the queso fanatics out there) What it was really pushed over the top Milena. A co-brother from Salat to my wife and a great server. Very personal and made sure we have everything we needed. 11/10 experience. Oh, and to complete it, she stopped us from leaving our card there (we already made it a car)

Came to the S. Carefree spot today for lunch. Atmosphere was pleasant, bathrooms were clean, our food was good, had the Old fashioned Margarita, and it was amazing, and our server Caitlin was great! Would definitely recommend this Tex Mex restaurant! Will definitely be back. Prices were fair.

The building is pretty dark inside and a little depressing, but appeared clean. The food wasn't bad, but didn't have a lot of flavor or too much to be interested about. It took about 15 minutes for us to be seated, which was strange, considering that it was mostly empty, but our server was attentive and did a good job throughout the meal. All in all, we would go back, but it would be very far from a first choice.
