Bidrage med feedbackLovely old style Vegetarian Hotel with restaurant open to none residents and frequented by local community. Food very good, great curry rice and usual south indian standards. Separate bar, friendly, quiet service. Great place to eat have a beer and chat with regulars plus fill up before heading off to other parts of Sri Lanka as pure veg vegan food places extremly hard to find certainly in the hill country areas
I am here today, based on the positive reviews here on happy cow. I didn't understand anything on her written menu, so I asked him if he could only get some stuff and make me lunch. He said no, you have to get something. I explained to him that I don't understand what the things were, but he was just not interested and could not be harassed so I just got up and went. I won't spend my money at a place where my business is not appreciated. so far I am not impressed by colombo in general.
We went to dinner and had tasty vegan dosas a masala and a wobbles . also best vadai we had in sri lanka. items cooked in ghee are clearly marked. the staff is incredibly friendly and their English is very good.
These people are so busy with customers. they have no idea about vegan but luck everything is vegetarian. they will not listen to their vegan rules, but they simply say their elliac to diary. Most often they put gee oil for everything
