Chola Authentic Indian - Colombo

We went to this place by coincidence and were really surprised by the excellent quality of the food. Middle priced and delicious, staff was friendly and helpful we absolutely recommend.

We went on 16th April 2023 to the One Galle Face Mall restaurant. Our order was pooris (loads of them! with Dal Tadka and Butter chicken. For dessert we had Kulfi and Gulab Jamun which was spot on! The gulab jamun was just right in sweetness, versus being overloaded with sugar as most restaurants prepare them. Shout out to Dulaj for his exceptional service. Was happy to know in casual conversation that we had a Kuwait connection too! Sorry i have no pics as we were famished and dived into the food! :

We went to the more recently opened thalawathugoda outlet. We ate Naan with the items recommended by the waiter. Probably the best indian we have eaten. I love Indian food but indian deserts are not our cup of tea... Its always too sweet.

Good food. We came with family. Reasonable prices good juices and ice coffee. We tried buriani, it’s a large portion, paneer, curries and naan. We’ll come again
