Restaurant Pfeffel - Colmar

It seems they hate customers and would do anything for you not to eat there. Extremely prejudicial towards English speaking customers. In a wonderful gourmet city like Colmar, this is the last place you should choose.

Taking a break from our walking tour around the town, we stopped at Pfeffel and had some nice snacks and watched the other tourists stroll by.

We went for lunch and had this steaks, they were well cooked and taste ok. The service was good. The good thing they are open on Sunday and don't close midday

The restaurante is located in a beautiful historic building as many others in Colmar. Inside is quite nice with a kind of “ gasthaus “ furniture and decoration. We had flammkuchen and sorbet to finish our lunch. It was ok and the service was friendly. From my point of view it is an average place. Fine...

We are dinner here and so enjoyed it that we went back for lunch the next day. Good, well prepared food, friendly and efficient service from Sandrine, and a pleasant table outside. Would thoroughly recommend it.
