La Trattoria - Colmar

We arrived in Town late after a long journey and couldn't be bothered cooking that night. We tried popular Italian restaurant in town until we arrived at it and found 6 people waiting outside. We looked in and saw a tiny restaurant, a converted house. Unimpressed with the atmosphere and waiting time we crossed the road and entered La Trattoria. Including us 4 their was a total of 10 people in the restaurant that held about 150. A worrying thought when you consider people were queuing outside the other place. Nevertheless we ordered. The waitress who was the wife of the Chef had our meals delivered in no time. We were pleasantly surprised by the service, the size and quality of our meal. I was surprised that they had so few guests, the reason, they'd only been open a short time. Don't stand in the street waiting to get a seat meal when La trattoria provides good service and good food.

Received as 'princes', the very pleasant and smiling pattern (under its mask). Good kitchen, very reasonable price

Excellent reception of the Italian owner. Pizza and ravioli with excellent ceps. Too bad the shotamisu disappeared. It's dry. But the boss is commercial and offers coffee and lemon. I recommend this pizzeria

After the change of owner we tested the restaurant its much changed, friendly and welcoming staff as well as the boss. The catering very well, no matter what to say, we recommend an exit to the restaurant in love, family or friends. Good continuation in this restaurant.
