English & Miller - Collingwood

We stopped in at E & M for a mid afternoon snack of tea and scones to hold us over until dinner. Charming little place with seating and light menu selection with a British theme. A small gift shop with limited selection at the front of the store. We enjoyed the vanilla Earl Grey tea and raisin scones with butter and jam. Staff were very friendly. High tea is also available if ordered in advance. Worth a visit.

A great little British themed tea house and restaurant in downtown Collingwood. you can get high tea (order in advance) or just a cuppa to tide you over. The egg salad sandwiches are some of the best around.

Didnt realize that this place had an eating area. I thought it was a British themed gift shop only. The food area area at the rear of the shop was a very pleasant surprise. It is based on the British Tea Room idea so is open for lunches or early dinner. The soup and artisan bread was a full lunch and my wife had one of the large selection of stuffed baked potatoes with side salad, a full meal. The area is nicely decorated with a subdued ambiance, ideal for a relaxing enjoyable lunch. British high tea is another feature.

I went here for lunch when they first opened and had potato leak soup with fresh, delicious bread. Would definitely return.
