Burger - Colchester

Friendly people and good food! I really liked the fries, and even the glass water tasted good. I ordered a central castle and it was well done, but that is not unusual for restaurants. still tasty, will definitely be back!

I was in the burger bar a few times and was always impressed. that was my first time to order the Mc’B burger. I should have gotten the double. the single does not fill the rolls enough and while the pickles and sauce were well seasoned, this burger lacked the salty and umami taste that is clear at Mc’ D’s. the bungalow was well roasted and buttery, while the cheese melted on a classic American nuclear yellow glue that binds the burger. the burger was a great attempt, pickle was well salted and briney, not to mention, the shredded salat softened the texture of the bite, while also adding crisp. the pommes reminded me of the pommes of Al’s french fries or Beansie’s. I sprayed edgy on her with a dash of salt to restore my childhood. I also ordered jalapeño poppers. the jalapeño and the cream cheese pierce easily and while I don't like in the regular ranch, it helped to ease the spicy of the jalapeño. I am happy to come back here and see how the double comparison, but for now the burger advises: 8.2/10

I went only once, but on a strong recommendation from and in company with a regular. the burger bar lived completely up to his rating and was excellent! very nice staff, very fast service, excellent eating! we had slider sampler and I enjoyed the texas burger and the mushrooms and Swiss. the bleau cheese wasn't for me, but that's me. I'm back!

Very tasty sweet potatoes, and the honey is on the spot. the chicken was well cooked and the fön fries were delicious. with stars, because the regular kartoffel friries were baskets with few fries longer than 2 inches. I can say that with a little attention to details that would be a big pommes location. I would begin with larger kartomas that cut into the long direction. the food was hot and fast.

I live close by and after many recommendations stopped in for lunch with a friend. It wasn't busy which was surprising for such an accessible location, we were directed to seat ourselves and given menus. They have a great selection of Yummy looking alcoholic beverages, and a nice variety of food offerings w/reasonable pricing. I ordered the Mushroom Burger medium rare w/hand cut fries. While waiting for our orders I was looking around and would have to say there was a morning after the bar closed atmosphere that fit with the decor. My overcooked burger arrived and was smaller than I expected not even reaching the edges of the bun, and slightly thicker than a McD's classic cheese burger. It was covered by a thin slice of swiss and a couple of lukewarm mushrooms that matched the temp. of the burger. You'd think they would be warmer since the meat was overcooked. I would have to say the bun was really good and the fries were tasty. It was a pretty simple order unfortunately it simply wasn't all that! Date of visit: July 5, 2022
