La Maison - Cognac

Excellent restaurant as rarely seen, it is so good with exceptional flavors. The service is upstairs and we get rid of what is not all the time in gastronomy. Prices are frankly correct for this type of restoration. I recommend without hesitation!

Dinner in love. Welcome. Once at our table, we receive the menu card but the wine card only comes upon our request. Nobody asked us if we wanted to drink an aperitif, pity. The entrance served and no bread. We asked. We put 4 stars because one of our entries was really unpleasant, at the price of 18€ you expect a little better. Now we recommend because dishes and desserts were really up to the prices. Very professional, friendly and friendly staff.

Used to be closed Monnet chais today, I wanted to test La Maison and I'll be back. Very pleasant frame, subtle dishes. Deserts are often the weak point of restaurants, here is the opposite: I took the "toka chocolate" which turned out to be the pride of this meal: a nice surprise. The staff is in small care: friendly and very competent. The mixologist and sommelier are very good advice and the last good surprise: the excellent quality of the wines. The natural sweet wine that accompanied the chocolate (old 17 years in barrel) was fantastic, the white wine adapted to the guiding criteria and dishes, not to mention the iconic centilitre of Cognac Louis XIII that transports you to another galaxy ...

Blue! The place has changed well compared to the photos still listed by La Maison on Google. The place is very modern, warm and sober. And the kitchen is exceptional. From the entrance where you have rediscovered the pleasure of eating oysters thanks to surprising seasonings, passing through the dishes (fins and gourmets) to finish on desserts worthy of a starry... frankly our taste buds do not recover. Not to mention the team, a rare kindness and their recommendations, including surprising wines and cocktails, absolutely exquisite. I highly recommend!!
