La Piazza - Coffs Harbour

New owners and what a difference. The whole atmosphere has change from dank and a little scary to fresh, clean and friendly. I just wanted a quick lunch item so I settled on a pre made wrap. Very quick service. The wrap was chicken Caesar and get this was very nice and filling. Staff were friendly and there was nice music playing. Again, I cannot describe fully how much better this is than the last owners.

My experience at the restaurant today was very disappointing. I ordered a milkshake, which was quite small and priced at $7. The Brownie I had was not fresh at all, as I had to stab it with my fork to break into it. It was served cold with a garnish of a half strawberry that appeared to be cut the day before and was dried out. I was also disappointed to receive a plastic straw with the milkshake and plastic knife and fork with the takeaway salad. The salad was not fresh either. Despite the cafe being well-decorated, I can only give it a two out of five rating based on my experience.

La piazza is a fantastic cafe. Perfect for a rest from shopping at Park Beach Homebase. Indi makes consistently great coffee and the hot chocolate is to die for. Lot’s of great food and cakes, too. As a fussy coffee drinker I know I can always get a great coffee here. Would recommend dropping by soon.

Eaten here twice in the last week. Great food, service pretty good but made excellent by one waitress worth mentioning both times (Kayla). Whatever she is being paid it isn’t enough! Owner please note customer service like that is so rare, she does you credit!

We had Breakfast there this morning and it was fantastic. Food came out quick and it tasted great. Coffee was great and the price was very affordable. Will be going back.
