Gross Donuts - Coeur d'Alene

This place is so amazing. It is open 24 hrs and it is a great place to grab a quick dessert or breakfast. We ordered a couple of blueberry fritters and they were fresh and melt in your mouth. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We will be coming back!!!

Best donuts I 've ever had. Staff is great. Never had a bad donut. The atmosphere and service are hands down worlds better than Donut House! I had to admit I was not sure about the whole 'Gross ' name, until we learned it was their last name. That makes sense. Every donut I 've had from them is amazing. It can be costly, if you don 't watch the prices when you get a dozen and realize that fancy donuts are extra. Cream filled and custard filled count as fancy, so if you get a dozen of entirely fancy donuts you 'll be paying a pretty penny. I don 't care, they 're great donuts and I 'll pay it for delicious donuts at any hour of the day, great staff attitude and service. I 've never once gone in there and felt like they didn 't want me to be in there. Which I can 't say about the staff at Donut House, their staff is rude and short tempered. Rolling their eyes like 'why are you in here if you don 't instantly know what you want? ' The only time I 've ever been in Gross Donuts and not seen a great selection was national donut day towards the end of the hours they were giving free donuts. It was fine, because the donut we got was amazingly soft, melt in your mouth delicious. These are the only donuts I buy anymore. Thank you so much Gross Donuts for filling CDA 's needs for good donuts!

Stopped by to grab breakfast on the way to the airport heading back to Texas. All I can say is that we are so glad we did! My husband has always loved cherry fritters and cake donuts... these were easily the best we’ve ever had! All donut shops should come take lessons from this family owned business! The maple bacon and the pecan cinnamon roll were absolutely amazing too!

We stopped in because we were intrigued by the name and we were not disappointed. The selection was incredible and the quality was amazing! Our boys were appalled that we not only allowed, but insisted they eat only donuts for breakfast! Lol it was a family road trip. The super cool part? It's the founders' last name! There is a wonderful tribute to the parents that started the business from their children. I would highly recommend you stop in for a bakers' dozen. We'd be in trouble if we lived close by, but we'll be sure to stop next time we're in town.

5 stars because you weren't out of doughnuts like everywhere else always is. The doughnuts were good and so was the coffee. The employee even held the door open for us on his way out!
