Bidrage med feedbackThe service was decent for the most part, the waiters were always around to assist people while being friendly and quick. However, at one time the sushi chef refused to cut sashimi without the rice and told me to ask the waiter even though the waiter told me to ask the sushi chef. The food sucked, the sushi was very dry as if it were sitting out for over an hour. I picked out what seemed fresher and one of the staff members sucked their teeth and lazily put the rolls back to the front, not my fault you suck at keeping the food fresh. The picanha was dry and over seasoned. It was cooked at too high of a temperature so it was overcooked on the outside and unevenly cooked on the inside. The atmosphere was fine for the most part but the seating sucked. They have 2 large chairs stuffed into each side of a small table that has less than an inch of clearance between the chair and the table leg, while both chairs were completely in contact. I would not come here if you're looking for quality food or comfortable seating. If you're looking for price, it's somewhat decent but I would be worried about the health due to the food sitting out. The past few times I've been here have been extremely disappointing, could be under new but horrible management. Giving this two stars was being generous, it was a bad experience.
Many choices of seafood, oysters, clams, crab legs, sushi, and regular Chinese buffet. Would love to be closer to go more often. It was very worth it, and the place looked clean and well taken care of. It is a bit busy, but they run it pretty efficiently with plenty of staff. My kids love it.
If you’re looking for good quality food and a great variety of options then Santos is the place for you. They have the typical buffet food similar to Kings Buffet or Chow Time but better quality. In addition they also serve cocktails and unlimited mimosas so it’s definitely a great brunch spot. The sushi is fresh and they have over thirty options. They also have a crepe station where they make omelets, french toast and much more. I went with a group and I’ll definitely some back for more. We got there around noon and it was empty but but the time we left around 1:30pm, it was extremely packed full of people. The waitress are very attentive and they bring the check faster than you can ask for it which was pretty funny to me. They want you to eat as much as you can and then get outta there so they can serve more people.
I really wanted to like this place. But I was disappointed in a few things. First, $25 for all you can eat brunch is NOT bad! I feel it’s very reasonably priced. I came here for the sushi. But, they have a rule about charging you extra if you leave your rice. Well, I always leave some of my sushi rice. I try to not eat too many carbs, and compared to the average sushi restaurant, SanTo’s has a lot more rice than fish on its nigiri pieces. They obviously want you to fill up on rice. But no one is paying $25 for rice! They have a lot of other options. I tried the calamari. It was not good and I didn’t see any dipping sauce for it. I also tried the ceviche. It was the worst ceviche I’ve ever had! The fish in it was so hard and rubbery and overcooked that I couldn’t even bite into it! It was inedible! I tried the lobster bisque. It did have big chunks of what I hope was lobster. It was very mushy though. Not the consistency I expected from lobster. And the broth was very bland. We had to add a lot of salt to it. I also tried the shrimp tempura. It was actually very good! I had two. I liked all of the sushi that I tried and I think I tried all of them. There was also a “grill” area with steak, sausage, chicken, and corn on the cob. I didn’t try any of it, but it looked good. There were a lot of fried foods. Again, the only thing I tried was the calamari and it wasn’t good. They also had a whole “breakfast” area with made-to-order waffles, omelettes, etc that looked good. And, of course the dessert area. Several people in my party tried dessert. They were all ok. There was only one working stall in the women’s restroom. Overall I was disappointed. It’s an hour away from my house, so I won’t be returning. Even if I lived close by, I probably wouldn’t go here again. But I’m glad I tried it. The waitress and staff was very nice.
If you are looking for a place with a big variety of food, great flavor, fresh ingredients, clean environment, good customer service and a fair price this is the place to go. Food was delicious, the sushi was extremely fresh, oysters, crab legs (cold and steam upon request), shrimp, calamari, different cuts of meats and so many more great options. They have desserst as well, my favorites were the creme brulee and the thai donuts, omg I almost forgot the tiramisu everything was delightful. For the quality of food and customer service I personally think the price is fair.
