Texas Gate Eatery & Saloon - Cochrane

This is a super fun bar with line dancing on Tuesday nights where anyone can drop in and join. They also have all you can eat wings fish tacos we tried the wings and the Smokey BBQ as well as the Hot Honey were our favourites. I’m planning to check out their karaoke on Thursday since it was such a good time. They also have slot machines as well as pool tables at the back, so there’s something for everyone. I also have to mention that Rhonda was our awesome server, she was super friendly and welcoming : thanks Rhonda!

Love the atmosphere and some wine on a Friday night.. great service!! Had the fish and chips and it was awesome.

We have stayed here a few times. Owners and staff are so friendly and fun. Accommodations are rustic, clean and loaded with character. Early breakfast is inexpensive and very good. The bar is fun and lots of fun meeting and chatting with locals. Makes a gal want to move to Cochrane!!

We went for drop-in line dancing on Tuesdays and it was AMAZING. Cheryl is such a great teacher and we had a blast! The bartender was excellent, the server seemed a little grumpy but the food was good and the music and dancing even better. We will be back!
